You know you have a great friend when your relationship causes you to want to be a better man.
It is what happens with great friends. They push you to be better than you are. They challenge you to be strong and courageous. They make you see that life is more than just about you and your situation. They cause you to look through the mirror and help you focus on the most important things in life. They love. They give.

Above is an excerpt from a blog I read this morning. I posted it here because it was worth repeating and because I want to be that kind of friend. It made me think and I thought it might make you think too. A friend is not someone who neccasarily agrees with you all the time and definitely doesn't help you wallow in self pity, but one who will help lift you out of the holes life can put you in and help you see things from a different perspective.

You had wonderful things to add. Friends are one of God's greatest blessings.

By the way... It is always nice 'meeting' someone new. Drop by the blog anytime! lol

Thank you Joseph. I will check out your blog often. You're right about friends and also about meeting new people. Who knows, maybe you or Sis Elms will come to Calgry or I will come to Texas someday and we will meet in person! One thing for sure though, Heaven will be a great reunion!
