Prayer for today!
It is February already! This year is going so fast and I have been so busy with my real estate work since the beginning of the year.Let's not forget to take the time to thank God for his many blessings and to take advantage of every moment we have. It is so easy to get caught up in the stresses of everyday life and forget to take time to remember our blessings and see our opportunities.
Here is a prayer that I found on another blog that has stuck with me ever since I read it. I have been waking up each morning since reading it, thanking God for another day to live, to meet new people, to hear my children laugh and see them enjoying their life, to hear my husband say I love you, etc. It is so easy to take these things for granted and get caught up in the things that are "wrong "so here is a gentle reminder to be aware of the pleasant things that surround you and savour the moments you have!
Here is the Prayer.
A Thoughtful prayer For Your day
I may never see tomorrow
There's no written gaurantee
The things that happened yesterday
Belong to history
I cannot predict the future
I cannot change the past
I have just the present moment
I must treat it as my last
I must use this moment wisely
For it soon will pass away
And be lost to me for ever
As part of yesterday
I must exercise compassion
Help the fallen to thier feet
Be a friend to the friendless
Make an empty life complete
The unkind things I do today
May never be undone
Any friendships that I fail to win
May nevermore be won
I may not have another chance
On bended knee to pray
So I thank God with grateful heart
For giving me this day

Enjoy your day today. Forgive all the wrongs of yesterday and leave them in the past. Trust your future to God. It will be in good hands!
Love you all!!

Nice blog...I found this saying and thought it fit appropriately with your subject:
"CELL PHONE vs. BIBLE"
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?
Makes you stop and think "where are my priorities?"
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. And no dropped calls! (author unknown)
That is a beautiful prayer! God bless!
