"They that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with
wings as eagles, they shall
run and not be weary, they
shall walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31

Our God is a faithful and awesome God.
As a parent we put the needs of our children ahead of our own desires, as a realtor, I must put the best interest of my client ahead of my own interest. God is the ultimate Father and friend. he will always do what is best for us and that is not always giving us what we want, when we want it, or doing things the way we think it should be done. God's best often means a waiting process on our part. We need to learn trust. We can only know how strong our trust in God really is when things are upside down. That is where trust is tested. Even during the storms of life, God can and will bring something out of it that works for our good.

Trust is not always easy. Yes, I do my best to put two sons and their wives, seven grand-children and two great-grand-children with the third on the way into the hands of our Savior. I, as dad, still find myself worrying, fretting and concerned over a multitude of situations. Then to read a blog like yours or K. Hopper I step back. With a simple, male, prayer, do the best I am able, OK God they are in your hands! Not always easy.
