Some more random pictures of the house. Fonda, I have included some of the lighting. Let me know what you think.

My makeshift kitchen. I will be so thankful when we are able to finish the kitchen!!!

My Appliances. The fridge and the dishwasher are panel ready, which means they will have panels installed that are the same as the cabinet doors and will look like cabinets.

Below are some of the lighting choices I have made. They were not my first choice, but the ones I really liked were out of my budget. The dinig light I really loved was $800!! I have it narrowed down to the two below. One is quite formal and was the first one I put up. Then I went to a more rustic looking one. I am having a hard time deciding which one I like the best. Now that Ken has taken the first one down and installed the second one, I am leaning toward the first one again. Poor Ken, having to put up with me!! I would like your vote on the two. Which one would you choose? Keep in mind that I am trying to acheive a cottage look in this house.

2 upper bedroom lights are the same.

Angie's room ( This chandelier was on a really good sale and looks like it was made for her room. The base is a goldish metal similar to her wall color and the crystals are white and deep purple that match her bedspread and pillows.), John's room and the back entrance lights. (the back entrance light is my favorite of all.)

I used the same light fixture for the front entrance, hall and the foosball light.

We now have a temporary sink in the basement bathroom and a toilet in the upper bathroom. What a blessing. You don't really appreciate things like this until you don't have them!

Shower fixtures for the up and down baths

This is the pot filler that will be installed on the wall above the cooktop.

Love both lights, but my choice would be the second one. Love your purple bedroom. Awesome house!

Vren. Thanks for the vote of confidence and the compliments on the house.
You come on over. I can make almond butter. I don't need a stove for that one!
This is the biggest reno we've undertaken so far. I would love to have a business like that. We have talked about buying to fix up amd sell. I just don't want to keep having to move into them!!
Darla,
Thanks for the vote. You mean the more formal one right? Ken is going to kill me!! LOL
Thanks for the compliments. We really like the house too, and the purple bedroom especially.

Y'all have done a great job! I, too, like the second light the best.

Hi Karla,
So nice to see you again. Thanks for the vote. Are you all talking about the second light in the pictures or the second one I put up which is the more rustic one with the tin shades?

Thank you, Jessie. It sure does look like a different house. It basically is. It has taken a lot of time and a lot of hard work. You forgot to vote on the dining room light. The formal one or the rustic one?

mmmm....rustic is my vote, its unique.

If you are going for a cottage look, the rustic one would look the part.

Hey Sis! GREAT JOB!!! My vote is the first picture for sure!!! The burgandy one all the way!! Poor you having to decide! I laughed hard because I do the same with Julio and usually he says its up and Im not changing it again, but with enough perseverence on my part he does! Good luck!

Thanks Lisa.
I saw one in a house the other day that would have been just perfect, but I don't think they wold have been too impressed if I had taken off with their dining room light! LOL

Finally, here i am.... ok I LOVE the house. all the attention to detail in the moldings, luv it !! Angies light is perfect! I love the starry one too. Cute lights in the up stair rooms, adorable. Now lets talk about fireplace, I want to come , curl up beside with a blanket and a good book , a hot chocolate (cooked over the open hearth of course). and after having saw the fireplace DEFINATELY the rustic one ! Hands down to rustic. I think the idea of the pot filler is so cool, i have never saw that before.
See you Saturday !
