Here are a few pics of the "Dress up as a historical figure" youth party at my house. We had guest such as Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth, Elvis Presley, Yasar Arafat, Hitler, Davey Crocket, Audrey Hepburn, Steve Irwin,
Amelia Earhart, Charles Lindberg and others. What an important group of people to have together in one place!! What fun everyone had!! As the evening wore on, all these dignified folk lost their dignity and just had a blast!

3 possible choices

This is a floor I saw in a house in Evergreen and really liked the look. What does everyone think of this as an option for my floor?


This is a possible stain color. This sample hasn't been laquered yet. I haven't quite decided on this yet. I'd like some feedback. I am also considering an ebony stain. I'll try and post a pic tomorrow of that look.

I just found one of the name tags for the place settings. They were so cute.

Thanksgiving day at our house. I had over 40 people for dinner on Monday. I decided to decorate and eat outside amongst the leaves this year. The food did get cold too fast, but it was a blast and the day was awesome other than the wind blowing my table decorations off the table every 5 seconds or so. The pumpkins on the table weren't part of the original plan, but they did help weight things down. The pics are kind of backwards, but you get the idea.
