Angie,
March 14, 1989 was a year of celebration for us! God blessed us with a baby girl after 3 boys! What a day that was. I hardly dared believe Dad when he told me it was a girl. Since that time you have continued to be a greater and greater blessing to me. When you smile, (which you do easily) you light up the room and when that smile is turned to me, I feel like heaven has kisssed me. I love seeing you happy with your friends. It has brought me so much joy just seeing you and hearing you laughing and having a great time. It makes the house feel like a happy place. I can't stand the thought of you ever leaving, and although I know that it will happen, it won't be the same without you and your friends coming and going. I hope you pop in all the time to say hi. Until then I am enjoying every minute with you!
You never cease to amaze me with your talents and ideas. You are always thinking of something and you are very persistent in pursuing it when you get an idea in your head. Let this trait be a strength to you. I am constantly thinking "WOW, that is my girl, she is so amazing" and I am so proud of you!! You are graduating high school this year and I am anticipating where you go and what you accomplish in your life. You are a good and a hard worker.
Not only are you the most beautiful girl in the world physically, but you are so beautiful inside as well, which is much more important than the outward beauty. You have a sensitive spirit and care for people when they are hurt. I am thankful for that. People need that love and care.
You are a true friend and make friends easily. You are fun to have around.
I love it how the younger girls want to be with you. That did not come without you first loving them. You are making friends for life by investing time into these younger ones. Not many girls your age have the time or the care to go and get a little girl and spend time with her doing her hair and making cookies etc. One day they may need someone and you will have already established repoire with them. It will pay dividends. Not only for them, but for you as well.
You have a sweet, but strong spirit and you know your own mind! You are sensible and don't have your head turned easily. Keep thinking with your head and don't let your emotions override common sense.
I know that God has his hand upon you. You have never wavered in your walk with the Lord and righteous living. You truly are a lady and conduct yourself as such. Keep your hand in His and let Him unfold the rose in your life. You are a true Christian girl! You have never given us one moment of concern. Thank you so much for that!
I love you so much and can't even begin to put into words what you are, and what you mean to me and many others.
You are someone I love to call my daughter!
With all the love of my heart,
MOM

Yes, I couldn't agree more. Angie has all the qualities you wrote about and all I can say is that is right Angie. Keep living and doing your life with God first. What a difference Church girls are to girls from the world. What a beautiful young lady Angie is Tina.

Tina, I remember the phone call from your mom the night (in in my case early morning) Angie was born. She said, "It's a girl! You told me to call no matter what time it was." I was so excited for you that I couldn't get back to sleep. We were all hoping!

Angie, Angie, Angie, Oh how I wish they knew the true Ang I know.... =0)Well, I would have to say they do know you pretty well and have given a pure illustration of what you really are, a beautiful and outstanding young woman of Godliness. I am so thrilled to be called your friend, Muffin, Sissy, and all those other great nicknames you come up with randomly! I am so thankful that God has placed you in my life. From the moment I met you we clicked, I have no clue why, but we did and I am forever grateful! From slippers to snow ball fights, late nights and jalapeno poppers we have had a blast together! Thank you for being you! June seems so far away, yet so near! I cannot wait to see you again my Butterfly! I love you more than caramel, chewy brownies with milk! =)

Isn't she just so sweet? When I look at this picture I just want to pick her up and hold her again. My heart just aches for it. I know, I am sentimental and wierd!
Thank you all for your comments.

Tina,
You are not weird! Sometimes I wish I could zap my kids back to babyhood and just cuddle with them like the "old" days!

I wholeheartedly agree with everything Mom said. I am often awestruck that my baby sister has turned into such an outgoing, friendly, confident, loving, compassionate, pretty, Christian young lady.

Every time I see my sister, my heart swells with joy and pride at what an excellent woman she is becoming. It thrills me to see her mature in life and mature in God continually.

Keep up the good work Sis; stay humble. I love you.
