Kenny,

When I look at your sweet little baby pictures, they bring back so many wonderful memories. Sometimes I just look at the pictures and cry for the joy in life that you gave me. Right from the time you were a baby you had such spunk! Oh the stories I could tell!
You are definitley the Joker and the Prankster of the family. Life is never dull when you are around. You have a lot of laughter in you and a "little" mischeviousness. Oh all of the scrapes you have gotten into, from falling from your skateboard and knocking your teeth out before kindergarten to knocking yourself out on your BMX just before graduation! You have given us all so much fun ( and fear) through out the years! Life was never boring with you around and would never have been the same without you! You have added joy and energy to this family.
You have to be one of the most personable and lovable people. I don't think there has ever been a single person , that meeting you for the first time, has not loved you and continues to love you, from neighbors and church family, to people you have done "business" with ( lawn mowing, raking, snow shoveling etc.)(You are industrious and a hard worker, as are all of your siblings!) I have met up with people that have known you from years ago, ask about you and tell me over and over what a great kid you are and I have to agree with them. You are the kind of person that has never met a stranger and can establish instant repoire with people.
You have strengths you don't even realize are there!
When I think of you, I see raw untapped Potential with a capital P. As pastor King told you on your graduation day, You have a winning smile and can accomplish just about anything you put your mind to. How true that is.
I have watched you grow and mature over this last year in ways that you possibly aren't even aware of . Little thoughtful, unselfish things you do or say.
God has blessed you with a very quick and intelligent mind. I know I am rambling, but I wish I could convey to you how very special you are and what great strenghths you posess. You also have a very sensitive side that not many have seen, but I know it's there. I also know that God has His hand on your life and is directing you. When you and He finally come together, all I have to say is look out world, because it's gonna be great! You have charisma and leadership ability. You are strong and you are a leader. Let the love of God crowd out everything else and fill your heart and you will make a profound difference in the lives of others.
You have a Mom and Dad that love you , 2 brother's who think you're the bomb, and a sister that adores you and will not tolerate anyone dissing you!
I love you so much and I know the world is going to be a better place because of your influence!!
Love ,
Mom

Tina you truly are a woman of words. For those of us who have simply met Kenny in passing, or for those who have never met him, a picture has been beautifully painted of his life and personality. Somehow I can imagine his determined look and made up mind to experience all life has. It's as if you can truly visialize his dreams and goals. You never gave specifics, but somehow in the vaigness of your description we can make out a blurred blueprint of his spirited will. Kenny, from my first brief encounter, presented himself to be a confident and daring young man. One who finds fun and adventure; if it first does not find him. Somehow I can imagine a good time with Kenny not matter the situation. "Train up a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will(can)never depart from it." Keep praying momma, HIS ways are the foundation of his being, you raised him that way.

I do not know Kenny very well. I never taught him in school and of all 4 of your children I know him the least.
I can say I pray for him often, and will continue to. Kenny is bought and purchased by God and belongs to him. What a mind blower to think, he purchased us long ago when we were filled with his precious Holy Ghost. The blood applied makes us his. What a safe place to be.

Potential! Potential! Potential!

Everything about Kenny, for as long as I can remember, has screamed potential, and continues that resonates to this day.

If you take the strengths of everyone else in the family and pool them all together into one individual, you will find that to be my little brother. For example, he has Dad's work ethic, Mom's drive, John's compassion, and Angie's bubbly personality. The list goes on, but you get the point.

God definitely has a purpose for your life, Kenny, and I'm looking forward to the day when you devote yourself to that high calling of God, which is in Christ Jesus.

I love you, Bro.
