Deidre and Lexy walked over to my house just before church tonight and Lexy had this gift for me in her hands. She walked right in and said "these are for you" in her sweet little 2 year old voice. It was so sweet and fun!! She picked them on the way over. They were growing by the road side.

This is such a neat picture of Jenica playing at her great
Grandma's wheelchair. This was taken during camp of 2008.

My anniversary flowers

This poor little squirell was so hot, he was just hanging over the branch. I've never seen anything like this. It was so unusual.

Below are a few stories I foung on another blog that had good laws to live by in them, so I thought I would share it with you.

Law of the Garbage Truck

This is a great way to look at things…

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly. So I asked, ‘Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!’ This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, ‘The Law of the Garbage Truck.’

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they’ll dump it on you. Don’t take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don’t take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.

Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so….. ‘Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don’t.’

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

The Tree

The Tree
I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands. When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation. . His face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.

Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier. ‘Oh, that’s my trouble tree,’ he replied ‘I know I can’t help having troubles on the job, but one thing’s for sure, those troubles don’t belong in t he hou se with my wife and the children.. So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again.’ ‘Funny thing is,’ he smiled,’ when I come out in the morning to pick ‘em up, there aren’t nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before.’

Below are a few pictures of our youth on Friday night of the P.E.A.K conference in Tulsa. The prayer, praise, and worship were incredible. There are still many young people who are in love with God and are dedicated to the preservation of holiness and truth. This conferemce was truly "old time Pentecost at it's best!" Most of the pics below are of the young people rallying around Mark and Star, praying together and for one another. It was a sight!! I wish I knew how to put the video on here so everyone could hear the sounds of praise that accompanied these pics!!
To the young people I want to say how very proud I was of all of you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, work for the greater cause of spreading the gospel to a lost world and LOVE one another, forgive one another, and encourage one another. Make your circle tight, make it strong and make it big enough to include everyone. If you can do this, love each other and work together for the cause of Christ, you'll accomplish great things in this city. Keep working as a team! Love you all!!

First night of camp meeting was so good! It was just like old time services that I remember as a child. The praise was phenomenal and to see the people praying and crying out to God, to see so many being touched by the power of God was so refreshing and beautiful!
The message was about building your altars toward Bethel (the house of God), keep your back to your old ways and the sinful past. Having the spirit of Noah and not Lot. Lot only walked with a man (Abraham) that walked with God. He did not walk with God himself. Can't afford to be carnal, to not have revival. We must be spiritual. The wefare of our families demand it!. We can't Do a whole lot to change the corruption in our world, but we do have alot to say about what's happening in our homes. Take a stand for righteousness.
To all those who read my blog, It is time to get back to serving God, building your altars to God. Your families need you to show them the way!! All of our eternities demand that we stay focused on the right things.
You'll go in whatever directiion you're looking toward. Refocus!! God's word and a vibrant, apostolic church is a great place to start. It's a great place to live and raise a family!

Today is the first day of camp. Yesterdays services were very good and a great start to the week. Be a worshipper first and getting beyond the gate were the messages preachedcx by Bro. Bass. We leave for California onFriday for Aydins wedding, then off to Oklahoma for the peak conference! It has been a very busy summer!!

Below are a few pics of our day at the air show. The couple standing in the distance in the picture of James sitting in the chair, provided their own side show!. They were such an unlikely couple!

Last Sunday we went to The Lethbridge Air Shbow. It was an awesome day. It was so fun just having a family day again. I missed not having David, Jolene and Kenny with us. We met some friends there. Karern and James. We all went out for supper and then we came home. I really enjoy going to these things. The day was very hot, but there was a nice breeze blowing.
